Eighth grade space flight (1967)

In April of 1967 this group of 8th graders at Shelbyville Junior High School, provided ground control for student astronauts, Linzie Craig, Ricky Burgin and Doug Logan, as they set a three-day stimulated space flight inside the pictured space capsule, a record that held for four years.
