Lady golfers
Since the mid-1930s the lady golfers have been “teeing it up” each Tuesday morning during the summer months. In the 1960s this group included front row, Jean Logan, Bruce Logan, and Ethel Martin; back row, Hildreth Daniel, Helen Moberly, Sidney Combs, Susan Humston, Jean Cobb, Caroline Goodson, and Josephine Long. Bruce Logan won the Country Club’s ladies championship 14 times, beginning in 1955 and ending in 1971. Jean Logan won the title five times and Helen Moberly won it twice.
