It’s time to celebrate – 250 years of America to be exact! Summer History Camp is almost here – ages 7 – 13, $75 per child. June 23 – 25 (8:30 am – 3 pm) at the Carnegie Library Center and a few other spots downtown. Learn about the history of our nations’ flag, birds of prey (including our symbolic eagle), visit with the Painted Stone Settlers’ cannon crew, meet Lady Liberty (the Statue of Liberty), and visit the Shelby County Historical Society’s current exhibit, 250 Years of Clothing in Shelby County, Kentucky – just to name a few fun things that will be going on!!
Presented by the Shelby County Historical Society and Junior Historical Society. Scholarships available if needed.
Please note that our Office/Museum will have limited hours this week due to Summer History Camp.
