About The Events
Don’t miss our annual Holiday Open House during Celebration of Lights on Saturday, November 14th from 3 – 8 pm. We’ll be decorated for the holidays and this is the perfect opportunity to see our current exhibit, 250 Years of Clothing in Shelby County, Kentucky, as we will have extended evening hours. We’ll have warm cider and refreshments, Living Statues in front of the Museum (we’ll keep you guessing as to who they will be!), period-dressed living history interpreters, and a kids craft – all weather permitting. This is a special event and wonderful time of year to visit the Shelby County Historical Society and learn more about our organization and what we do.
