FOR SHELBY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEMBERS ONLY
Join us for our annual picnic – one of the ways we show our members we appreciate them. Join us at the beautiful home of one of our members on September 20th from 5 – 7 pm for an evening of food, fellowship, and great history. Our program will be “Music of the Revolution!”, provided by Sons of the American Revolution members Scott Giltner and John Doss. You’ll be serenaded with the sounds and history behind some of our beloved Revolutionary War era tunes as we continue to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Members are asked to bring a salad, side or dessert. Chicken, drinks, utensils, napkins, and plates will be provided. Members may bring a guest.
If you are not a member, this is a great way to get acquainted with our organization.
