In a window segment on the left side of the building the words “Fruits” “Vegetables” are shown. A sign on the right side of the building reads “Cream Station” with an arrow.

A 1953 newspaper notice informs cream producers that the “cream station at 427 E. Washington Street … at the grocery and fruit market operated by Mr. Hart” will be reopening. The operators name is listed as Mrs. Chas. Batterton. Another possible owner of the cream station, during this time period, includes Bartlett’s Creamery.
