The Hempridge Depot, prior to 1900, included left to right, man on the horse is Waddy Thompson; the rider-less horse is the Jesse’s “Old Parker”; Jim Martin; Claude Clark, depot clerk; first boy is George Jesse; second boy is Frank Jesse; third boy is Guthrie Jesse; fourth boy is Thomas Jesse Jr.; fifth boy is William Shepherd Jr.; the man in the door is Dr. William Shepherd; older man with beard is 90-year-old Lunsford Rucker; and the last man on the right is Millard Fillmore Jesse, station agent.
