
Grand Jury (1914)
The convening of the first Grand Jury on Nov. 10, 1914, after the new courthouse was built brought this group together. From left to right in the upper row are Sam Newton, George Mahuron, Charles Jennings, W. C. Buckman, Robert McDowell, Robert Sleadd, County Attorney Edwin Davis, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Charles Sanford; seated, lower row, are John Fawkes, James Price, James Wright, Mr. Green, Mr. Crawford, and John E. Brown.
