
Mary Louise Foust
Mary Louise Foust served three terms as state auditor for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and practiced law in Shelbyville and Lexington. She was the first woman in Kentucky to be both a licensed attorney and CPA. She ran unsuccessfully in 1963 to become Kentucky’s first woman governor.
