Shady Rest
Located in the 6000 Block of Frankfort Road, the “Shady Rest” (later called the Old Colonel) was a bus stop beginning in the 1930s.
Originally built around 1925 by David Cunningham as part of Cunningham Farm and at one point had been operating as the “Shady Rest Bus Stop and Restaurant”.
