Lake Shelby
Four unidentified individuals sitting on fishing pier.
For many years Lake Shelby, which was dedicated in 1949, was the principal water source for Shelbyville. That changed with the opening of Guist Creek Lake in the late 1950s. Currently the lake serves as a fishing, camping, and recreation facility.
