Robert Wadlow

The world’s tallest person, Robert Wadlow came to Shelbyville in June of 1939. Here he is pictured holding David Waide Hughes, with David’s mother, Zeleen, looking on. Wadlow was 8′ 11″ and he wore a size 37AA shoe.
