Stop by the Shelby County Historical Society (SCHS) Museum on Saturday, 7th between 9:30 – 11:30
am before, during or after the Shelby County Christmas Parade, hosted by the Shelby County Fire
Department, for a special Open House and craft station. The parade starts at 10 am., but the Museum
will be open at 9:30 with a Magic Reindeer Food Station (while supplies last). Weather permitting,
we will have the station set up on our lawn – in case of inclement weather, the station will be held
inside our Museum, located at 627 Main Street.
While there, enjoy some warm spiced cider while you watch the parade go
by. Take advantage of our Open House from 10 am – 2 pm to visit our
Museum and see what artifacts we currently have on display before we
change out the exhibits for 2025. We also have a special Nutcracker Display,
just for the holidays!
If you’re looking for a last-minute stocking stuffer, we have several
publications for sale, including our last one, The Shelby Historian, for only
$10!! A membership with the Shelby County Historical Society also makes a
thoughtful gift.
